The internet is full of surprises (and 404 pages).

A few weeks ago, I was invited by Penn State Football to speak with players, staff and other athletic teams on campus about all things social media. Given that these elite college athletes are so visible, conversations around productive, thoughtful and intentional social media use is imperative. We talked about what an incredible tool social media is for these student-athletes when used the right way, and how perceptions can be made with one click.

A new study shows that younger people are increasingly relying on social media apps for “trusted” news and content. So important to be talking to our kids about what It is they’re consuming, creating good and critical digital consumers.

It can be challenging as hell to raise digital natives in a technology-driven world.
